Donald Sterling Reminds Me of an Ex Boss...I don't Miss those Sunday Night Blues.

I remember a few years back, every Sunday around the evening time after dinner I would start to get depressed. At first I didn't know why, and it took some real evaluations to actually pin point why I would feel blue every Sunday night. I realized that it was the fact that I knew I had to go to a job that I hated on Monday morning. I had to wake up early, get dressed and fight traffic to get to a job and deal with a boss I really couldn't stand. He looked like Donald Sterling, and probably had the same mentality; condescending because he was the big wig and I was merely the Administrative Assistant. 

I would cheer for my lunch hour and dreaded going back after my hour was up. I felt like I had no choice because I had bills to pay. And even if he was a jerk, it was his name on my check, and I needed those checks. 

At least I thought I needed those checks. The day I left Corporate America was one of the happiest days of my life. Even though I was out of a J.O.B (Just Over Broke) and collecting unemployment I knew I had a plan to become my own boss and I would stop at nothing to achieve it. Fast forward a few years and here I am very proud to actually be my own boss, making money on my terms! This blessing I grabbed with D$ Domination has afforded me so many opportunities that I didn't think were possible before. I don't get depressed on Sunday nights anymore and I embrace Monday mornings with open arms. When you learn how to get out of the bondage way of thinking, you embark on new journeys of actually living your life instead of just existing.

Yes it is in the air! Springtime and pollen, an allergy sufferers worst nightmare...but that's beside the point. Reaping season feels amazing.

Captain America 2 is Number 1 and This Week has Been Monumental!!...

I haven't even seen the first one, but Captain America 2 is the number one movie in America right now. I typically love the movies that originated from comic books, so after I watch part 1 I think I will go see part 2 with the family. 

Well it is a beautiful day here in Atlanta. Although my black car currently looks like the Green Goblin due to the high pollen count, I love this time of year. The cold season is over. Now is the season of reaping and growing and I have seen a tremendous amount of growth since I started my journey until now. It truly is amazing what can happen when you take massive action, stay focused and consistent. 

This week has been my best week to date with D$ Domination. I made multiple sales every single day and I even helped a few people get started with changing their lives! All I can say is, God is good! 

April 1st but this is NO April Fools'!

Ides of March...No Need to Beware!

Although it was actually yesterday, March 15th, the day known to many as the day Brutus betrayed Julius Caesar was everything but a dark or somber day. As a huge fan of Shakespeare's work, the Ides of March has been embedded in my head to mean a day to beware of. How silly that a fictional story can allow dates to stick in your mind years later, even without any true significance. But I digress...

So this past weekend I was able to treat myself to something I wanted for a very long time but couldn't afford it. I actually walked into the Apple department of Microcenter knowing that I wanted a Macbook and would not leave the store without it. The new Windows 8 is terrible. It is almost impossible to navigate and comprehend, and ultimately it almost enrages you to wanting to toss the laptop. I knew that I did not want a laptop with Windows. I was determined and even said that I would not blog again until I was doing it from a my own Macbook. :)

The beautiful thing is I had a CHOICE. When you're broke, you have to get what you can afford or sometimes you can't get anything at all because you can't afford it. However, when you begin to get to a place of financial freedom, life becomes a bit more manageable because you have way more choices. A few months ago, there is no question that I would have went to Walmart and gotten the cheapest laptop I could find, or even go to Rent A Center to avoid spending a lump sum. But thankfully, through God providing this opportunity with DS Domination I am now able to have choices. I made the choice to withdraw $1300 and pay for my purchase in cash. 

While the associate was typing my information into the computer, her manager walked by not seeing me and says to her, "so are you going to do anything today" and kept walking before she could even tell him that she was helping me with my purchases. I thought to myself what a jerk and before I paid for my items I gave that associate my information for DSD so she could become financially free and fire that jerk of a boss! I ended up getting the Macbook Air, the Microsoft Office for Mac and a nice red tablet for my mom. DSD rocks!!

Samsung Releases the Galaxy S5...Are You Team Galaxy?

How typical is it that a few months after you think you have gotten the latest phone, the newer model drops? So Samsung officially released the Galaxy S5 and it doesn't look much different than my Galaxy S4. One improvement that I would love to see is the minimizing of the heat from the battery while the phone is being charged. Last night I was watching our weekly live Google Hangout (<----click there if you missed it) and I was charging my phone at the same time and my phone got unbelievably hot. Granted I was getting a ton of messages after posting my screenshot on Facebook, but the amount of heat was unreal! With all the hype of the S5, I hope the heat factor was addressed. 

Speaking of screenshots; the ability to do that and post proof of success on social media sites is amazing for Internet Marketers! So yesterday was my most successful day to date with DS Domination. I made 5 sales in one day, totaling close to $400 in profits and I worked for all of 2 hours in the morning. I am still in a state of shock and almost disbelief because I have never had this kind of success online without even recruiting anyone. And when I do actually recruit that is residual income that I get on a monthly basis. How can you be blessed and not have the desire to bless others? I don't even look at it as recruiting, but as introducing people to a life changing opportunity.

During our Google Hangout last night, one of our team members who is a 69 year old woman and not technologically savvy in the least was sharing her testimony. She was talking about her $834 profit that she made in one day just by copying and pasting on eBay!! That motivated me to step my game all the way up because if she can yield results like that, there is no reason why I can't double it. From Government Assistance to $6,000 Monthly Part Time!...and She Did All Online!

So I was watching the latest Google hangout video from my team members at DS Domination and this testimonial brought tears to my eyes! Her name is Valerie, she is a native New Yorker like myself and she started DS Domination on November 1st of last year. Shirley Temple Dies..Whitney Houston Remembered..Atlanta Braces for Another Winter Storm!?

With so much going on today, staying focused was quite a challenge. Between trying to stay informed about the Winter storm by watching the news, trying to soothe my mind by listening to Whitney Houston while adding products on eBay; today has been an adventure to say the least. Schools and several businesses were closed as we prepare for yet another Winter storm, but this one promises to yield over an inch of ice. Everyone is urged to basically stay indoors until Friday. So I figure there will be millions of people stuck at home for at least the next 48 hours, and that is just a portion of one state. That puts my business mind into overdrive and I go full throttle all day, seldom coming up for air...

I listened to an amazing conference call this afternoon that focused on coaching individuals to adapt a millionaire mindset. One of the techniques mentioned, that I try to put into practice often is writing down goals. As one of the speakers said, goals that aren't actually written down are merely wishes. Having that constant reminder of goals helps to keep the flame of desire to achieve them burning. That flame is necessary because there will be days when you second guess those goals. Those days when it seems like every possible road block appears on your path to success, is when refocusing is necessary. Remembering what it is that drives you, and what it was that prompted you to creating those goals in the first place will help get you through the discouraging days.

I search for motivation, particularly from individuals who are in the same line of business as myself. Seeing their continued success helps keep me determined on making my own dreams come true. This week as I was scrolling through my timeline on Facebook, I came across a post from one of the members of DS Domination who was celebrating her success. Shortly after one of my newest team members texted me to tell me he had made his first sale on eBay after his first day. Everyone on my downline is actually making money! I am truly starting to feel successful knowing that I am helping people reach their goals while I work hard to achieve my own. And posts like this when I log onto Facebook definitely keeps me inspired and motivated! 

Free Advertising During the Super Bowl Commercials!??

I could not believe it! There I was watching the commercials during the Super Bowl and it dawned on me...I was receiving advertisement on the Super Bowl watched by millions! The best part of it all is I did not even have to pay a dime for it. What do I mean? One word. eCommerce. I offer a wide variety of products to buyers on eBay and a few of those products were advertised during the Super Bowl commercials. So I checked the eBay app on my iPad after the game and sure enough my viewers and watchers increased. Talk about stoked!

The main difference between network marketing and eCommerce is the ability to offer a variety of products to large amount of people, as opposed to trying to offer one product to a small few hoping those people will do the same and so on. I still enjoy network marketing, but the freedom I get with the eCommerce side is what I enjoy most. Being able to offer so many different items to customers all across the country is actually fun. I have my very own online store and it brings me joy when I see people actually viewing my products, watching them and ultimately making those purchases. Cha Ching. It continues to be sweet music to my ears.

Flowers in the Attic...Almost 30 Years Later...

I wonder if Kristy Swanson will be watching? She was one of my favorites when I was a child and she played the original teenage daughter Cathy Dollanganger in Flowers in the Attic. Flowers in the Attic was the first book I read by V.C Andrews and Louise Fletcher played the role of the psycho grandmother perfectly for the original screen adaptation of the book. V.C. Andrews had a twisted mind, which made her books almost impossible to put down because they were riddled with mouth dropping drama! Even though she has passed away, her family continues to write books on her behalf. To this day I still purchase her books and have 3 of the latest (actual paperbacks) that I have to find some leisure time to read. So Lifetime has decided to air the remake of the movie and I am beyond excited! Ever so grateful for DVR because right now I am so focused on this grind.

This past week has been the most successful week I have had since beginning my journey as an Internet Marketer. With a simple copy and paste process, I basically made sales every day, often times more than once a day, since last Saturday. Talk about motivation! I said I was going to stay away from promoting DS Domination because I was a bit burned out with the recruiting process from being with MCA. But with the success that I am experiencing in a such a short amount of time with DS Domination, there is no way I can keep it to myself. My biggest issue I had with relying on recruiting people to make money is the fact that you cannot make people work as hard as you do. If they don't work hard and don't make money, they will quit. I was tired of experiencing the excitement people would have before joining and then after realizing the amount of work it would entail just to sign others up, that excitement quickly dwindled. My downline began to shrink and even though I was making money, my team wasn't, and I couldn't feel successful.

Now here I am making money without even signing people up. And when I actually do some promotion and sign people up, there is residual income on the affiliate side. So what does that mean? I am starting to make money monthly regardless of if I actually work or not. Multiple Streams of Income and Residual Income are two my of 2014 goals. It is only January and I see those goals being fulfilled. Cha Ching! 

Bye Bye Polar Vortex! Off to Canada with the Cold!

If you have been in any of the lower 48 states over the past 2 days you have felt the bone chilling cold that encompassed the entire US. And just in case you didn't know, the cold front was caused by the Polar Vortex which is now on its way to Canada (where it belongs). Yesterday I woke up at about 6am and I checked my phone and the temperature was 3 degrees! Though I am a native New Yorker, I never believed I would see such cold temperatures below the Mason-Dixon line. 

Of course Atlanta shut down in the face of the cold and the 7 snow flurries that fell and decided to close all public schools. Needless to say, there was no reason to leave my house. I was not even a little bit curious about what 3 degrees felt like. Fortunately, I had the option to stay home and still make money. In fact, I made a bit more than usual because so many people were stuck in their homes and plenty of them decided to spend that time shopping on eBay. I spent my day listing items and hearing the cha ching cash register sound the eBay app makes on my phone every time I make a sale. It is like sweet music to my ears.
