So many of us make these promises to do something differently in the new year, and before January is even done we are back to doing the same thing. The new year always gives new opportunities to self reflect, renew and get recharged for goals that were set in the previous year but never met. I don't necessarily make resolutions, however I do set goals that I want to achieve and try to learn from mistakes I have made to avoid repeating them. 2013 has definitely been an enlightening year for me. I discovered a world that I knew existed but had no idea how to access. I started with a company that has opened the doors for me to network with people who has allowed even more doors to open up for me. The realm of opportunities presented before me is nothing short of a blessing and I plan on taking advantage of all that I can, while continuing to saturate myself with knowledge about this Internet marketing industry.
The first half of 2013 began with so much uncertainty. All I knew was that I needed a change because I was tired of working just to pay bills. I sit here now the day after Christmas and for the first time in a long time I don't have the post-Christmas blues. I am not worried about all the money spent for the holidays and going into the new year broke because of it. Since I am a giver by nature, being able to provide my family with gifts this holiday season meant so much to me. If I hadn't taken advantage of the opportunity to actually be my own boss through Internet Marketing, I am certain this holiday would have been just like the last one...a struggle.
While I was spending money for gifts online, I was also making money by selling gifts. I profited about $254 my first 2 days of drop shipping and made money on Christmas while I was busy spending time with my family! Going into 2014, my focus has shifted from recruiting people into MCA to making money on eBay with or WITHOUT signing anyone up to do the same. Path changed, but destination remains the same. Obsessed with success for 2014!
Were you one of those who bought tickets for the Mega Millions Jackpot hoping $1 would fulfill your dream? Coincidentally, one of the winners won from a ticket bought 20 minutes away from me. Someone posted that they knew a woman who spent $300 on Mega Millions tickets. I suppose she spent that much in the hopes of having greater odds and she still didn't win and wont get that $300 back.
People consistently invest their money in the hopes of hitting it big. And while plenty of people do, the vast majority of lottery players don't win. For the average person, earning wealth wont just come to us, yet we continue to sit around and hope that one day it will if we just keep playing. 80 year old retirees living off of pension are playing because they are still holding on to a dream that they will hit it big and be able to actually enjoy their retirement. The proceeds for the lottery here in the state of Georgia benefit the education system, so I don't knock people who choose to play. But, while all it may take is $1 and a dream, if you never work toward that dream you'll always remain asleep.
In an effort to add to my stream of income as a network marketer, I ventured in a different direction that started yielding profits within my first 24 hours of joining! While I am still recruiting people through MCA, I have now started drop shipping on eBay. I started on Friday night thinking it would take at least a few weeks to see results and I was so wrong. By Saturday I had already made 3 sales on eBay that profited me $174.00 for just 30 minutes of copying and pasting! One of the aspects that I like is that I can just do it without having to sign people up and I declined to be an affiliate because of that very reason. I just wanted to make money. But after making 3 sales in my first 24 hours there was no way I could keep this amazing opportunity to myself! I'm taking 2014 by storm and I want to help as many people change their financial lives as I can.
Unless you've been out helping Santa in the North Pole for the past day or so, you have heard that Beyonce released a new album on the silent tip. The album was released exclusively for iTunes on Friday the 13th. I was one of the many who bought the album which has 14 songs and 17 videos. Talk about inhibition! Beyonce shows that she is not afraid to own her sexual side and enjoys being a women who is an independent wife. For her fans this album is indeed an early Christmas gift. As the savvy business woman she is, Beyonce knows how to keep her fans happy and entertained with her talent. That is why she could actually release an album with no press, no promotion and still sell 80,000 units within the first 3 hours of it being released.
Her success as a business woman is very inspirational to many. She married a mogul, worth half a billion and she could totally rest on that forever and not work another day in her life. The fact that she continues to pursue her passion, throws her heart and soul into her work and grinds almost non-stop reminds me that when you become obsessed with success it is inevitable. The key is truly devoting yourself to achieving your goals; setting a destination and getting on the path to that destination. Even if the path changes, the destination should always remain the same. I am always motivated by women who are moguls and continue to blaze trails and raise the bar for the competition.

At first I thought not another disease; but it turns out Affluenza isn't a disease at all. It is being blamed for a 16 year old who drove intoxicated causing a crash that left four people dead back in June. Affluenza, which is not actually found in the DSM of Mental Disorders is known as what happens when a child or adolescent comes from a wealthy family and is never given any boundaries. The lack of boundaries allegedly leads to them breaking the law and getting away with it. These Affluenza sufferers have access to money and parents who can afford to bail them out and hire high priced lawyers to make sure they stay out of jail. The boy in this case will not have to do jail time, but he will serve 10 years probation and his parents have to find him a long-term treatment facility. Had this been a boy who was poverty stricken, there would have been no made up disease to get him off from jail time.
Society is designed to favor those who are wealthy. People who can buy their way out of anything can often times get away with murder. So how do you work on gaining wealth, while holding onto those fundamental principles that allows you to remain humble? How do you ensure that the generational wealth you are building for your offspring will allow them to build on that wealth instead of squandering it away foolishly?
If you have goals as big as mine, you want to secure a financially stable future for your family. I don't want my son to know the struggles that I did, but I want him to have that appreciation for our new life. I want to remind him that he is not entitled to anything just because I make a substantial amount of money, but I will make sure he does not want for anything in the process. Affluenza will not exist in this household!
Did you know that Facebook now has almost 2 billions users worldwide? Imagine if you could network with just 10% of that number? Although Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook to be a place for interacting online with people you know personally, he had no idea the popularity would expand worldwide making him a billionaire! Today, his net worth stands at $19.8 billion from his stake in Facebook and we don't have to pay anything to be members.
As a Network Marketer, Facebook can be a tool to connect with thousands of people daily. There are hundreds of Facebook groups with hundreds and sometimes thousands of members who are either looking for a way to get into Network Marketing or already in the industry and looking for ways to expand and grow their business. Interacting with those group members is beneficial to establishing relationships and possibly driving traffic to your Facebook business page.
The only problem with networking on Facebook is sometimes you can be put in what is known as Facebook jail. Where the Facebook police decide that you are sending out too many friend requests to people whom you don't know personally. Or if you decide to advertise in places that aren't necessarily created to host free advertisements your account can be blocked or suspended. Ironically quite a few Network Marketers have learned how to bypass the Facebook police and establish business connections with people they have never met. Networking with even a small percentage of the 2 billion Facebook users can become very profitable for your business. The key is learning how to be successful with Network Marketing on Facebook.
Sometimes I wish I was 25 again but without actually going back into time. Just to be able to have this network marketing opportunity prior to spending tens of thousands on student loans! Becoming a business owner seemed impossible without a lot of capital, but now with the possibilities we have with technology, one can start their own business by investing less than $100. Though I may not have employees, I have customers and team members whom I introduce to the business and show them how to create their own successful business through network marketing.
I placed an ad on Craigslist Friday night, and from that one ad placed I received over 50 responses, and the emails are still coming in. So by Saturday morning I had 3 people sign up to start their own business and I made $240. This morning I woke up to 4 more sign ups which means by next Friday I will receive at least $560 deposited to my account. It took about 5 minutes to place the ad, and about an hour or so to enter the names into my database. Then it dawned on me that I literally made $320 in my sleep! It is a feeling that makes you want to scream it to the world. There are so many people struggling when there is tons of money to be made honestly online just by helping people get benefits and/or learn how to start their very own business. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a true revolutionary who epitomized the notion of tragedy to triumph. From having spent almost 30 of his 95 years on this earth in an 8 X 8 cell, to emerging as a great leader who won a presidency with 100% of the votes. Nelson Mandela, also referred to as Madiba, fought injustice on an international spectrum, was imprisoned for conspiracy to overthrow the government and sentenced to life in prison. His imprint left such a lasting stamp that people around the world rallied for his freedom. I recall the Free Mandela shirts that adorned the bodies of many people in the late 80s.
"Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do." One of the many quotes Nelson Mandela was known for which speaks volumes given the source. So many of us are held back from achieving success because we lack dedication to it. We have goals that we believe are impossible because we lack the knowledge of the necessary steps to take. Even though we may not all be revolutionaries like Nelson Mandela, his life can serve as a road map for many of us. We cant be stuck in a daydream hoping that reality will just fall in our laps. Taking action toward that vision is vital to achieving true success!
If you would have told me a year ago that I would have been a network marketer, I would have walked away and laughed. But here I am; and I've taken the network marketing industry by storm!
About 4 months ago, I started doing some self reflections and I thought to myself, I am a 34 year old woman with big dreams who may never get to achieve them because I just do not have the money. Network marketing may not be my passion but it afforded me the opportunity to pursue my passion. Before I became a network marketer I was in debt, out of financial aid, owed the university money, and only making $10 an hour as an after school teacher. Paying back student loans were just about impossible and I felt so stuck. I knew I needed to do something differently, but I had no idea where to begin. I was really sick and tired of being sick and tired and drowning in debt. Then I was presented with the opportunity to start my own home based business through Motor Club of America and the puzzles that were out of place in my life finally started to come together!
Within just a few months I was able to start paying off my debt and I enrolled in school online. It feels amazing to be able to write a personal check to cover the $1100 per class. It feels good to be able to go out with my family without worrying about being broke again until I get paid. Ultimately I want to get my doctorate degree in Child Psychology and open my own private practice to help children and adolescents. I feel like I can really start to make my dreams a reality with this network marketing path that I chose to take. This journey hasn't always been smooth, but through the failures I have learned to succeed. And It is my goal to help as many people as I can to become successful online entrepreneurs too!
